Reconciliation

We offer Confessions at the following times:
The first and second weekend of the month: following the 5:00 PM Mass.
The third and fourth weekend of the month: following the 9:30 AM Mass.
Also, please know that the sacrament is always available by appointment.

Note: The weekend is defined by the Sunday date.

Children’s Reconciliation Services are held in the fall and during Lent. Each penance service is followed by a joyous celebration focusing on the children in our faith formation program.

First Reconciliation

Family-centered preparation for First Reconciliation typically begins near the beginning of the 2nd grade PSR year. Preparation includes rituals at Mass, intergenerational sessions, parent sessions, serving the parish community, and student learning in the PSR classroom. First Reconciliation is generally held in January.

Parents wishing for their child to receive First Reconciliation can contact the Director or Coordinator of Religious Education.

Act of Contrition

My God, I am sorry for my sins with all my heart. In choosing to do wrong and failing to do good, I have sinned against you whom I should love above all things. I firmly intend, with your help, to do penance, to sin no more, and to avoid whatever leads me to sin. Our Savior Jesus Christ suffered and died for us. In his name, my God, have mercy.
