Evangelization

"To evangelize, then, we must be open to the action of the Spirit of God, without fear of what He asks us or where He leads us. Let us entrust ourselves to Him! He enables us to live and bear witness to our faith, and enlighten the hearts of those we meet."

Pope Francis

What is Evangelization? (USCCB)

In the Gospel it says that Christ is the cornerstone of OUR Church. A Church with missing stones becomes weaker with each missing stone. As such, Holy Spirit has established an evangelization team to try and address the needs of the members of the community.

Evangelization is defined as the sharing of our faith stories/journeys. Therefore, we hope to be contacting our parishioners periodically to offer a blessing for you, and to ask how we, Holy Spirit Parish, can improve and expand our Community.

Join Us

A deacon once told us that the Body of Christ is incomplete without all its members; this said, our church is incomplete without you… Join us because all are welcome in His House! If you have ideas, concerns, etc., please feel free to contact us.

What Are We Doing to Deepen our Faith?

New Evangelization calls us to ask these questions of ourselves:

  • What are we doing for the many who attend church this week?
  • What are we doing for those who only come occasionally?
  • What are we doing for those who love God but do not attend mass?
  • What are we doing for our youth and young adults?
  • What are we doing to bring back those who have lost interest or been alienated from the church?
