Vacation Bible School

VBS at Holy Spirit parish is a robust and exciting, week-long summer program utilizing age-appropriate, themed activities to engage children and youth in the teachings of Jesus through stories, crafts, music, games, service, play and imagination!

Although mainly geared towards children pre-k through grade 5, VBS involves the whole parish. Youth in grades sixth and up can join the fun by serving as group leaders, activity helpers and perform in skits throughout the week or help with set up the week prior to VBS designing sets & props for skits and help decorate to transform the parish campus to match the year’s theme. Ways adults can participate are many.

Camping in God's Creation is a one-week Vacation Bible School program designed to allow children to imagine they are attending a summer camp in the woods and to explore what it means to be members of the Catholic Church through these experiences. Children will discover what it means to build camaraderie with others, analyze the wonder of God's creation and identify our place in it. They will explore our responsibility in caring for God's creation and learn how God provides direction to help us find our way to Salvation.

All are welcome in the family of God. Led by God's Spirit, we can participate in creating a more peaceful world.
