Vacation Bible School

VBS at Holy Spirit parish is a robust and exciting, week-long summer program utilizing age-appropriate, themed activities to engage children and youth in the teachings of Jesus through stories, crafts, music, games, service, play and imagination!

Although mainly geared towards children pre-k through grade 5, VBS involves the whole parish. Youth in grades sixth and up can join the fun by serving as group leaders, activity helpers and perform in skits throughout the week or help with set up the week prior to VBS designing sets & props for skits and help decorate to transform the parish campus to match the year’s theme. Ways adults can participate are many.

Passport to Peace is a one-week Vacation Bible School program designed to help children make peace a way of life. Peacemaking skills are essential for those who want to follow Jesus' way of peace. Through various Scripture stories children will learn there are many opportunities and ways to live as peacemakers. Passport to Peace invites children to see every person as part of God's family and every interaction as an opportunity for peacemaking. Passport to Peace is a reminder that the love of God and the way of peace transcends all borders and divisions.

All are welcome in the family of God. Led by God's Spirit, we can participate in creating a more peaceful world.
