The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) is the way the Church helps unbaptized persons prepare for and reflect on Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist. The OCIA also includes baptized persons from other Christian faiths who are preparing for reception into full Communion in the Roman Catholic tradition. The mission of OCIA is to help candidates understand the faith, receive the sacraments, and experience Christ through the liturgy and recognize Him in everyday life.
If you have a spouse, relative, friend, or neighbor who you think would be interested in the OCIA program, or if you would like to renew and deepen your faith, please contact the Diocesan Pastoral Associate.
