Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mother: Holy Day

Friday, August 15  is the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mother; it is a holy day of obligation.
Masses will be at 9:30 am and 7:00 pm.

There is a need for Altar Servers
Children in grades 4 and up are encouraged to share their gifts with the parish by becoming an Altar Server.


Training will be provided and schedules can vary to fit your families' schedule.

Hot Meals

We serve for the Hot Meals program at St. Bernard's in Akron from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Most help is needed between 4:30pm to 5:30 pm. Please let us know you can help by calling or emailing the parish office.

VOLUNTEER DRIVERS NEEDED
The Hartville Migrant Ministry is currently seeking the assistance of volunteer drivers to transport patients to and from our clinic for medical appointments. As we continue to expand our reach to other communities in Stark and Summit Counties, the need for patient transportation services continues to increase. Volunteer drivers can choose to use their own car or our Center’s van - whichever is most convenient.
